LA Fair and Las Vegas

We all went to the fair the last weekend they had it. Lots of walking and lots of fun! (Me, Paul, Isaiah, Jamal, and Haylee)Heres the ride they picked, I told Isaiah that he could go on a bigger ride but he wanted to ride this one with them. (He looks so big in the little air plane)

Oct 15, Paul and I drove to Las Vegas for our 4 year annv. It was nice to just get out and go somewhere new. We had lots of fun. (Besides the walking for the MGM to the end of the strip)

A POEM

How often we must bear the challenges of life;
The endless roller coaster between happiness and sorrow;
The constant ups and downs of daily strife.
And always the question remains .... why?

Life is not an easy road for most;
It twists and turns with many forks in the road,
Although always, and inevitably, we are given a choice ...

Do we turn to the right ... or the left?
Do we take the high road ... or the low road?
Do we take the easy path ... or the difficult one?

Decisions are not easy for those struggling for direction ...
And sometimes the many choices and signs become overwhelming.

While standing at a crossroads in life,
The urge is to take the most comfortable path;
The road with least resistance ...
The shortest or most traveled route.

And yet, if we've been down that comfortable road before;
Have gleaned its lessons in life, and learned from our experiences;

Do we yet again follow the known?
Or does our destiny lie in another direction?

The fear of the road less traveled is tangible and all too real;
It manifests itself in many ways,
And tends to cloud the issues that might otherwise be clear.

It is in these times of confusion,
That we must seek peace and solitude;

Time to contemplate on our life,
Our experiences and our choices past;
Time to look back, and reflect on what we have learned
Without fear or confusion.

For only each of us knows our own personal thoughts;
Our unique past and personal history;
The experiences that brought us to the crossroads we now face.

We can always learn a small degree from others experiences,
And yet ... no one person can walk in our shoes,
Others know not, the trials and tribulations faced in private ...

For each is individual ... unique ... and personal.

And that is why ... while standing at a crossroads,
Only "we" can formulate the decision for ourselves;
The true direction that lies within;
The choices we must deliberate on with clarity and wisdom.

For it is only through personal reflection,
That we can now choose our destiny;
... Our next adventure;
... And the future we will embrace.

OUT DATE TO THE MELTING POT

Paul and I wanted to go out on a date. So we decided to go to the Melting Pot (used our $50 gift card that we won in the drawling our apartment had. Won some other things as well) We got there and they sat use in this corner in the dark with one little light at a small table. (we sat very close together) The waiter offered use some wine on the house. We both said just water please at the same time. We had to pick out our cheese that we wanted. So we picked.....

Then we had to pick our salad.... Paul got the featured salad, which was not on the menu(he likes it.. they did not have ranch)And I got...

Then we had to pick our entree for two, we also had to pick an oil to cook our food in, we just got plain oil that was free. Cost more for the flavor oil. Our entree.....(also came in dipping sauce)

If... If we would of got desert I think I would of gotten....

That came with....

We arrived there at 6:30 and did not get back to moms to pick up the kids till 10:00. I must say that, that was the longest ever that Paul and I stayed at a restaurant. I think though it was because we had to cook our own meat, vegetables with 2 little pitch forks in oil. LOL. It was very fun though.

We had out ultrasound today. I was a bit disappointed. There is only one in there and that is fine with me but what disappointed me was my due date is now even longer then it was the first time. My new due date is DECEMBER 26, 2009. YES I KNOW A DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS. Since I had an c section with Haylee I am hoping he will do it a week before my due date. Here are some pictures of the ultrasound. Haylee had fun she got to come in and see, which I think helped a little. She wanted to hold the pictures and show grandma the new baby. After the ultrasound I went to get my blood work done, which was NOT fun. I got super sick was throwing up, light headed, and sweating bad. I felt like I was going to pass out. Must of been ALL that water they tell you to drink before the ultrasound :( If its a boy name is going to be Nathan Paul and if its a girl Natalie Lynn

Flat tires, Picture of game and kids

We got a flat coming home from getting Jamal last night. Paul said that it feels like one of the tires where going flat. (the front driver side) so we pulled over and I got out to check it wasnt the front it was the back driver side, was flat. So, we pulled out of the street, I called mom and dad to come and save us. And Paul and my brother Cody started to put the spare tire on.

I had so much fun when we went to the game. I was actually getting into it at the end, after I moved away from the girl that was screaming in my ear and hitting me with the noise sticks.

Here are some picture that I took with the kids. We were just messing around being funny. Haylee wouldn't take one with me:( \
